I am installing a Clifford 4 barrel manifold on a 261 and realize there is shift linkage interference with the column shift. We are swapping the trans to a floor shift, so we will be ok. But, I am wondering what others may have done if they had the same problem.
Any thoughts?

I think Cosmo fabbed up offset arms for the shifter. I am going to run into the same problem as I am going to hang a 4-71 blower off the side of BillyBob's 235 stovebolt. I plan on following Deve's instructions to mount a 3-speed floor shifter like a top-loader.

Thanks Larry for reminding me of Cosmo's fabrication on the linkage. I'll do a search about it. We are planning to go to a T5 which will eliminate the trouble, but add other issues. LOL.
Seems to me I saw a 235, maybe 261, blower set up recently. I'll have to look into that too.
