Got a line on a set of 15x6 and 15x8 steelies with 235-75-15 tires. 2" backspace. Would put the 8s in back and 6s in front.
Thanks! -Joe | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 362 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 362 | I had 15x8 with 235/75-15 front and back on my 58, it was close but they had 3 1/2" back spaceing. So the 2" back space should work ok for rolling it around.Larry

What was close, tire to fender or tire to steering/suspension? | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 362 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 362 | The tie rod has about 3/4" clearnce with the rim edge and tire. I've just switched to a set of chrome smoothies with a little less offset running 215/75-15 on the front and 235/60-15's on the rear that work real good. I went down on the heighth of the rear tire to help out with the gear ratio in the rear. I'm still running the 3:07 gears in the rear. Larry

Man I can't wait to actually get my hands on this truck. It was supposed to come today but it's been delayed to tomorrow. | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 362 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 362 | Just be careful at how wide a tire you put on the front. These old trucks don't seem to like a lot of tread width on the front.Larry
