Does anyone know of a source for the hose fittings for a 1969 Chev truck power steering box. Iv'e been to the local auto supply places and they look at me as if I had rocks in my head. Ive got hoses that fit the
Pump but are wrong for the box. I believe they are 11/16- 18 TPI.

Farm equipment supply store?
Many of them can make hydraulic lines to order,or know someone who can.
If you think it's bad there, try getting stuff like that here in Blighty! grin

I got mine made at a local Hydraulic hose builder who specialises in farm/plant equipment, they didn't cost the earth either.

Going to your local FLAPS is a chore these days,if you don't have a vin number or if it's non standard they don't seem to be interested,or have the knowledge to work out a solution for that matter.

Thanks John. I went to a hydraulic company here and they were unable to do anything for me, but they can join a couple of hoses together. I managed to get a fitting from a local used parts place Tin Man Auto who has a lot of 60s to 80s Chevy American iron in stock. So Im on my way.
