Hiya Keith

Forgot my cell phone this morning. It was probably the biggest Monroe swap meet I've seen in years. Actually found a couple of items. First time I ever saw a 1939-40 NOS Chevy truck fender for sell. Too bad it was for a 1 ton. Had a great time.

rickmg- Perhaps you should have checked your parts books, The front fenders for 1939-40 are all the same part number for 1/2t 3/4t and 1t. I know because I bought a 1tn fender from a vendor at a swap meet and was he mad when I told him it was for my 1/2 ton Suburban. He told me it would not fit, and I suggested he check his parts book. Was he ever MAD!
Perhaps you could find the vendor you saw and still make a deal.

My Grandfather bought it new and Dad drove it through highschool. The 3rd & 4th generations put it back on the road on 8/8/2015!

I don't have a parts book. My 39 3/4 ton has an indent of 3" for the frame horn. The 1 ton fender I looked at had an indent of 1" or so. Would it fit, maybe, but would it be correct. It sure wouldn't match the fenders I have. The NOS fenders I picked up back in 1974 matched exactly the ones I took off the truck.
