I've just recently discovered my caliper banjo bolts contact my air bags on full steering lock, left and right, has anyone else experienced this problem and if so do you a cure?

I've been thinking of some form of steering stops but i'm unsure how I would go about this on a rack and pinion set-up,does anyone here have any suggestions?

I still say, make sharp turns with the throttle....

all kidding asside, can you change the center bolt on the banjo to one with a button head? (vs hex head) to soften the edges.

Put in some form of steering stops so that it contacts that spindle just before the caliper bolts make contact.

The upper bag mount has an offset built in,I managed to rotate it round to clear the caliper,it's still a little tight to the brake line though.
I'm working on a steering stop solution.

Thanks for your input fellas, even if it all wasn't entirely useful eh Scott? grin

John, it was entirely useful. it rains often in your "neck of the woods". you have a V8 in the truck, turn the wheel slighly and mash the throttle. the truck will turn around the inside front tire and the back side will spin around. drive chug

Ahem!
I'll have you know we've had nearly a week of sweltering temps here Scott, well by OUR standards at least...
It's reached the heady heights of 70 degrees.
Mind you,the forecast is for rain and 'wintry' showers for the weekend though.

Like I say,i've cured the caliper/airbag abrasion problem but now have to work on some steering stops.
The tyres (tires) get just a little too close to my brake flex lines for comfort.

You'll also notice I went to the trouble of providing a translation for you just in case..... dang grin
