I can't find any markings on the truck anywhere that would indicated which model it is. Bed length is also an indicator; half ton Chevrolets had shorter pickup beds (roughly six feet).

Also, the 1/2 ton trucks gross vehicle weight (GVW) is 4,800 and the 3/4 ton trucks are 5,800. listed on the VIN tag on the drivers door post
