Had my late father's pick-up painted. New wood bed...was in the body shop for over a year...although the paint and bed was finish the owner kept putting off the little things so i took it out of the shop. Paid him and putting the door and window handles back on myself and other detail stuff. On top of that some of the emblems are missing.

The paint and body work i am satified with as the truck looks factory new.

So the question is...is there a place where i can find these replacement parts such as the fender emblems that say 10 for chevy 10. Reproduction is ok with me or used.

Classic Industries in Huntington Beach, CA would be a place to start looking.

Called up one of the above part stores and they had the reproduction part in stock. What can i expect as far as quality of a reproduction part. Can i assume it going to be as good as OEM specification?

Thanks

No, you can not make that assumption. It depends on the part you need. Call them and ask the details. Get names! When you document the call and who you spoke with, then if they tell you it's a perfect repro part, then if it's not, a refund MAY go a little easier. It's the School of Hard Knox, on this one.
