Does anyone have any idea where I could find replacement seat springs for a '45 1 1/2 ton truck?

I am also looking for a outside rearview mirror. I believe the one I want was an accessory mirror. It had two long arms in a V shape with the mirror hanging below them at the end. The arms mounted to holes in the door header. I know the mirror wasn't the best for visibility but I'm working on getting an old firetruck back to driveable shape and that was the mirror that came with it originally. Ours has gone missing over the years replaced by west coast mirrors. I've looked for one at the Hershey swap meet the past couple of years but have been unsuccessful in my hunt so far.

Thanks for any help or advice wave

Put an ad in the Parts Wanted Section and see if anyone can help.

Keep looking and you will find the mirror and arms. I looked for about 2 years and finally found one on a truck a guy was selling down by Joplin. He was willing to sell me just the mirror & arms. My 1940 was bought new by my grandfather, but they removed these mirrors because they vibrated and made it hard to see. But they do look nice on an original truck.
