They are in Jim Carter's catalog, item #DP128. They are supposed to repair a worn door latch flipper. I bought a set of these since my latches are worn some tho not too bad. When I tried to slip the first one on it broke apart. I got the second on but after opening and closing the door a few times it broke also. Pretty poor quality, just wondering if anyone else has used these and had the same thing happen. These doors are a big enough pain without this.

On a whim I bought the springs and popped one on it. Shut the door and was in awe. I was dancing around the shop in unbelief. Maybe I just got lucky? Still using the same one after two years. | | | | Joined: Sep 2014 Posts: 104 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2014 Posts: 104 | Now after breaking both the springs my door won't stay shut. I have no idea why these things broke the way they did. I'm going to contact JC on Monday not that it will do any good. Will see.
