I have a '58 deluxe cab 1/2 ton (Chevrolet) It was originally a Tartan Turqoise / white top & trim (area around the back glass & door windows outlined by a chrome strip). A previous owner has given it a monochromatic paint job in baby blue. And I do mean monochromatic! All of the interior sheet metal is now painted the same color as the outside (thankfully they left the top of the dash alone!)

I've seen many different trucks over the years with the interior metal painted all different ways. What's original? Where could I find a difinative description? Were deluxe cabs painted differently than standard cabs?
Thanks,
Stingray

Cabs were one of two colors for Task Force trucks, either a champagne color or gray. My 59 is done in the champagne but believe the 58 Fleetside that Squeeze has is done in the gray. I believe both colors are available from some of the vendors or you can have it mixed locally. I recently acquired code info for interior colors and have picks of the inside of my truck so you can email me if you need further info.

I've only seen/ heard of gray as task force interior:

this is an original dash - the light gray is the whole interior except for the top of dash which is a darker not-glossy gray, w/ the steering column, support, steering wheel and floor the same dark gray but glossy
