I have purchased some paint from Jim Carter which is supposed to be a original color for my truck.
My painter has done the dash and roof panels with it and it appears to be slightly darker than I thought.
Has anyone had experiences with this product and can anybody post pics of a original paint examples of interior.
Any help is very much appreciated.

I had it made into rattle cans. I found the spray bombs easy to use, since this was a repaint of a fully intact cab. The rattle cans allowed easy access to some tight locations. I stripped the cab and taped-off as needed. I believe the 1-1/2 rattle cans that remain will make it easier for touch-up. As one can see as you sift through the "Bolt Bucket" pictures that I have posted (click the link), I believe that the color is hard to describe. Carl stated it best...it depends on the type of lighting, intensity of the light, and the angle. It is an odd paint color to describe--like a chameleon!
From what I have seen, the Rustoleum 7272 will produce a nice finish. GOOD LUCK! | | |
