Hy Memphisdoug, your truck came from the factory with a metal elbow and two short pieces of straight hose as the bottom connection from the water pump to the radiator. I could not find a listing in my Dayco catalog for a complete lower hose to replace the factory metal elbow and two short hoses. The oldest listing for a complete hose is for a 1947 application, Dayco p/ns upper hose 70112, lower hose 70115, these may or may not work, check with your F.L.A.P.S. and see if they have an illustration book, or are willing to bring the hoses in for you, hope that helps.

According to my old Chev book 1937 thru 1946 Chev use a 1 1/4" by 6 3/4" straight hose for the top and the lower uses 2 ea. 1 1/2" by 4 7/16" straight hose. The pipe was not serviced in 1953 when the book was published. 1947 used a GM# 36899602 moulded curve hose. He moulded curve was used 47 through 1951. 1952 used a different p/n again.

I may not have a part number, but the following numbers and letters are on the outside of the hose I have used on my '46 2 ton truck, and have since replaced with the two hoses and the steel elbow. It was working fine, only it was 15 years young so its been replaced before it becomes a surprise.
7A13 EBP 80MH50 Made in USA.
I do remember that the hose was sourced from NAPA, and probably is the above referenced molded hose for a '47-'51. It also contains an anti-collapse wire coil inside. From the looks of it, it is possible that I had to slightly trim one end to keep it from trying to kink, but it maybe just misshapen from being on the other side of the clamp against the pump for all those years.
