Has anyone successfully repaired the rear body corners and other lower body panels in a 47-53 suburban ?
The front cowl pieces will be the same as the 1/2 ton truck as well as the lower door panels. Will the lower pieces between the rear fenders and the front doors be the same as the door panels? Any thoughts about about taking a rear fender from a 1/2 ton and grafting the backpart of a front fender so it conforms to the body in the rear. Can a truck cab corner be adapted for the rear body corners? At lastly what would be a good solution to replace the roll pan beneath the rear door. Does anyone make these special body parts for suburbans?

From the doors back - nothing is a good swap from any of the repop pickup patch panels.

Metal Man (Ray Stanley) made a new rocker for me that worked very well (between passenger door and front of wheel well).

He can make about any part you could need including fender patch panels and rear corner patch panels.

Do a search for Metalman and see if you can come up with his e-mail address. His parts are top quality and will save you hours of extra work trying to make other parts fit that were not intended for a panel/suburban.
