I got a can of engine paint (Dupli Color Engine Enamel with ceramic) that i really like the colour of. Is it okay to use this on the interior (dash, floor, doors)? will it hold up well?

You will get a much nicer paint job than you will using the rattle can stuff. You should be able to get a close match to the rattle can color from your local paint supplier.

Think how much more it will cost to do it again, and again. If you use the rattle can, you will need to repeat, as it will not hold up as well.
Bite the bullet and do it right. Nobody says "I wish I had done the elcheapo job..." when it looks good and lasts a long time. The other is certain to have regrets.

I'm thinking of using PPG's DCC for mine. That will save the cost of the clear.

thats exactly what i was looking for. my original question was wether the rattle can engine paint would hold up well. the cost is secondary to durrability.
