I don't know a thing about fixing the body on a truck. Yea, I know - it doesn't make sense. Anyways, can anyone help me?

What should I do if the truck has already been painted, and it has a dent? I don't want to jack up the paint, but I don't want the dent either. Here's a link to a picture below to explain - behind the drivers side door, bottom. Thanks!

I am not much of a body man, but I will give it a try. That crease along the top of the dent looks tough to me. I think that the dent can be hammered out, but you may need to paint the quarter panel. Hopefull somebody with more experience will correct me or add to my post. Nice looking truck by the way.

You might want to take it by one of those paint-less dent removal places and see if they can help you. Looks to me like it will be a tough one with that crease.

Jeez my humor is wasted in this forum.

I am no expert but looks like this one will need some extensive work that will require painting afterwards. Without the crease it may be another story, but as it is, I just don't see any other way.

Okay, that's what I thought. I will probably take it to one of those places where they do the body repair and paint the same color that it was before. In2deep, I love the joke, hahaha. Thanks guys!

if you can get to the back side clime under and try pushing it out with your foot the worst part may pop out

just to let you know, I do paintless dent repair for a living and that is way beyond. It's the crease and it's way to deep to come out without damaging the paint.

I worked out a dent in my door, very similar to that. I bought a suction cup that has a separate handle that creates the initial suction. You place it against the dent and squeeze the handle together to secure the cup. Then apply some outward force and tap the ridge line with a flat body hammer. What happens is the dent starts to come out as the ridge is tapped. I was quite amazed at the results.

we have a chain of stores in Canada called "Princess Auto". They have a lot of Auto and farm equipment tools. I would think some of the auto supply places would have them. I learned the technique from a discounted video on bodywork, that I bought.

Harbor Freight sells suction cups like that.
