I am installing LS1 - auto in 53 Panel truck. I have
replaced stock front end suspension with Mustang II.
I have reinforced and adapted the trans cross member.
Installed No Limits four link and had to cut/remove gussets as per their insructions. I have reinforced that area with a boxing plate and steel square tubing.
I have also box in the frame hump area.
Do you think this is adequate for a frame inspection or should I do something else? cheers

Hy ADLifeSupport, did you do a front frame graft or just adapt a crossmember to the original frame? It is very hard to offer an opinion based on a description alone. Whoever you choose to do the frame inspection will have his own points that he/she looks for, it might be better to just take the frame to him/her and get his/her recommendations. It is possible to make a frame too stiff in one area and transfer stress to another area not able to handle the stress, hope that helps.

Thanks; We welded in the M2 cross member as per instructions which required boxing in the frame rails. I do not anticipate a
problem here with the inspector. The area of concern is mid frame just in front of the four link. I have no experience with
flexing points if there is any.

The only part of a stock frame which flexes is between the forward-most front bumper bracket bolt hole, and the rearward-most rear bumper bracket bolt hole.
If it were me, I would box the entire frame.
