Hi all,

Looking for recommendations for a dual exhaust setup from Fenton headers on a 1961 apache fleetside long bed with the 235. I'm thinking flowmaster 40 and 2" pipes but don't want it to be too loud, just sound really good. Also wondering if there is any advice as to the best way to install it - can u buy certain u-bends to go with pipes and hangars that you can install yourself? Or is it better to get a muffler shop to customize it?

Thanks!

I like the factory look you get when an exhaust shop bends it using long pipes. To me it looks cobbled up when there are pieces welded in at every bend.

My 2 cents...

Yeah that's sort of what I'm thinking too from asking around.. May need to reach out to some local shops - what should a custom built exhaust system run? Never had one built before.
