Has anyone tried running the 9" Stainless Steel Air Cleaner unit sold by Patrick's and Eckler's?

They are advertised as for 2 one barrel carb set up.

Good air flow? How much CFM?
How tall over all (will clear hood of '57 truck or '55 sedan), what size is filter element? od, id, Height?
K&N cartridge?

Only need one, for single Rochester carb 2 5/8 top.

Any other sources or who actually manufactures them?

They are most likely made for Patrick's and he probably supplies them to other vendors (when he has them).

Ask if it is in stock before you pay for one.

"Use With Rochester 1-Barrel Carburetors Single Or Dual"

Patrick knows his stuff, but let him know what year carburetor (throat type) you will be using (center-post attachment or clamp-around-the throat attachment).

Well, I called Patrick's.

Best 25 minutes I've spent thinking Chevrolets in years.

Phillip (Son of Patrick) hooked me right up, took his time helping me configure for what I HAVE, what I WANT, what I NEED.

They have best darn customer SERVICE I have experienced in a Long time.

These are indeed made up for Patrick's from Patrick's own design to emulate the old Hellig air cleaners.

6 1/2" filter element obtainable anywhere.

Did they have one in stock, or will one have to be "made up"?

Be sure to post a photo when you get it installed.
