On a 66 Suburban, 292, I am in need of the heat riser coil spring. All of the listings that I see, are for 37-65, and I don't see anything for a 66. I went ahead and ordered one of these springs, and they are made to fit a 5/16 shaft. My spring actually fits around the end of the counterbalance, and it is around a .580 dia. The heat riser assembly is part of the manifold, not a separate piece between the manifold and exhaust pipe. I tried local flaps, no luck. Does any one know if they repop these, or where to get one? I see people selling HR Springs on e-bay for $80.00. A piece of wire is a lot cheaper. Thank you for your help.

I've found the NAPA is a good choice for hard to find parts as is Rock Auto. Your truck is new enough that one of those may be able to help.
