Hi List,

I am looking for interior paint for the 54/55.1 two tone blue interior. Greg H posted the paint codes for the two shades of blue a while back but they were for the PPG basecoat (DBC). I would like to get a single stage wihout much gloss using Greg's codes. PPG makes an interior paint that is lower gloss called the DBI. Does anyone know if they mix the same i.e. will the code for DBC give me the same color for DBI?

Thanks,

Joe

Same system as DBC, i.e., Deltron 2000.

Thanks Denny - I just got confirmation from the paint guy

" color match should be pretty well dead on vs your formula all I had to do was swap binding clear out. This product mixes exactly like dbc 1-1 with DT series reducer"

BTW the paint was expensive but it laid down perfectly and the color match was spot on for the deluxe two-tone blue interior (I think Greg H was the guy who posted the formulas).

Gloss was very dull, just like the original.
