Does anyone know if I will have a problem using 17" wheels on my 1940 Chevy 1/2 ton?

Seems to me that there is plenty of space in the fenders for just about anything.

Depends on the tire profile really. I'm running 15" but with 255x60. these give about 27" dia.

I have 7.00 x 17 and 7.50 x 17 tires on my 1942 Chev. 1/2 ton PU.... tires are 31" and 33" respectively... no problem...using 1936 17" artilery wheels.
