Does anyone out there have a blown-apart diagram of how the body parts on the 60-66 GMC trucks bolt together? I have been looking for one for a while. It would be good to have one so I could tell where all the bolts are when I go to dissasemble my 62.

I got a 60-66 Factory Assembly Manual from www.classicchevroletparts.com. It works pretty darned good and has saved me from doing stuff over again many times. My only complaint is that some of the drawings are out of sequence and I really have to pay attention to the differences in the models from year to year nd page to page.

I think it was around $30.00 and it's been worth every penny. I bought a set of shop manuals from them too. They appear to be the only training dealerships got from the factory and they are written in plain english with pictures and step by step instructions. They are broken up into a main manual for 1960 with suppliments for'61 and '62, and a main manaul for 1963 with suppliments for '64, '65 and '66. I bought all of them. It was a good thing, too. The supplements aren't much help without the main manual and you need each supplement to keep the main manual complete. I think it was assumed that the dealer had the previous years books, so why repeat the same information.

Good luck

Hey there,
I have been trying to get copies of them for over a year. No one wants to offer them . I am currently trying to buy some. If I am successful I will share them with you. Drop me an e-mail later this week to find out If I have them.

Jonathan, get a '60 chevy manual. Should be about 50 of them on ebay right now. It's not GMC but it will have everything you need. Good diagrams and photos. You mat be able to bag one at your local meet, and that should be starting soon, right?

LMC catalogs have good blow-aparts of body, suspension, etc, great for re-assembly help.
