Its casting # is 15 GM 6273212; This unit is heavy and quite a bit larger than the floor shift trans in the truck now. The engines casting #'s tell me its a 1960 235. Could this be the trans that came with that engine? Would it be an upgrade from the tiny floor shift transmission in the truck now (sorry no casting # for it yet)? It seems to be tight, smooth and still lubricated. The shifter shaft was heated and bent at some point. I've been offered cash or credit towards other parts needed for my restoration, but only $75.00. Is it worth more than that? Upgrade? Thanks. A 1962 motor would have had a SM420 4spd. Not sure what they are worth.

I am interested but afraid of what the shipping would run to GA. They weight #130! I have a 1948 3100, the tail shaft housing (enclosed driveshaft) is broken and I also need the u joint yoke. Do you have any parts and what do you want for one of the trannies?
