Well, my old man backed his tractor right into the grille of my '49. The truck had an aftermarket grille in it already from Classic Parts. Just wondering who has the best quality one available? The one I had from Classic Parts was OK, but it could have been better IMO. Any help is appreciated!

I went with a re-chromed oem GM grill that had a powder coated rear frame. I'm happy with it, it weighs the same as my original rusted grill, so it seems very solid and the chrome looks thick (triple plated). It took some online shopping around to find it, but they are out there. As for the repops that are everywhere......I've heard bad things, like bug guts destroying the chrome after just a few drives. Maybe a fellow bolter can review a Goodmark grill for you, it was my next choice. If you would like I can PM the LA supplier who takes cores, and sold me mine.
