Does anyone have a current ppg formula for these. I am painting my truck w/ Speis Hecker paint, but I may be able to cross reference the colors. But thistle gray I have, Dupont 70397 or PPG 32669 | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | DuPont and PPG color charts for 1953 and 1954 indicate that bumper facings are Anvil Gray and Radiator grill bars and Hub Caps are Thistle Gray. A 1998 article by Bob Adler indicates these numbers/colors are carryovers from previous years.
DuPont no longer lists a Waldorf White but PPG has a Pure White.
PPG codes (modern numbers):
