My ring gear is wore out on the used side. I have not located where to buy a replacement for this model. Is it possible to remove the ring and turn it over for more use? Thanks

I have seen them turned around so the other side can be used. It takes patience to get them off and on again without damage. Usually heating them will make them come off pretty easy and then heat again to slide it back on.

Don,
Don,t you have to grind the new inside edge to make it fit?

I must be getting dense anymore. I'm looking at this and thinking how can you turn over the ring gear (differential).....
Then it dawns on me you'nes are talking about the starter ring gear on the flywheel...LOL
