Is it worth getting the crank ground? Do they even make undersized babbit bearings? They have used insert rod bearings since about 1954. The older babbitted rods can be bored to take inserts. Then you would get a set of babbitted rods for the .010" journal size. It's getting harder to find someone to do babbitting anymore, so you may have to do the insert bearing conversion as mentioned. You will just have to find out what your local shops are capable of doing.

After checking previous posts, it looks like it is a low-pressure 1946 235 (babbitted rods)?

Get an accurate measurement of all the rod journals with a micrometer and see how much wear and out of round you're dealing with. Then decide whether you need a regrind or a replacement. Yes, there are plenty of undersize Babbit rods- - - -they're on Ebay all the time.
