Several people have been to stuff but enjoy going back - like The Caves, ATHS HQ, tour of Jim Carter's. Tony Smith (hopefully) will be doing a body clinic for us so I'm not sure if we'll head to his place (unless we go early - like Thursday). I think Tony will have his hands full.
Since our last visit to ATHS, beside the Alderson brick, they have a librarian and we'd be anxious to see how they are coming with setting up all the information they have so it is retrievable via the internet (that is their goal).
We will have BBQ to beat the band!! The restaurant thing doesn't work as well as eating in an open area (like when we had dinner at The Caves). It gives people a chance to move around plenty, check out trucks, or whatever it is that's there. We tried a room at the American Inn in the early years and brought food in (catered). That worked out pretty well as people could roam around and in and out. The Inn gave us the room for free. I doubt we could find a deal like that again. Unless one of the places we went to visit, would also let us bring in chow.
Open to suggestions ...
Peg
