My 53, 3600 is stock, new wiring and lights. But the lights are dim, and hard to see.How can I get them brighter? Can I get them so you can see them in the day and night,like halogen? Thanks, Paul

For tail and stop lights see what watts are in there now. You might get lucky and find some that are more watts, they will be brighter.

#1: Put in a plastic lens. They let a lot more light through than glass.

#2: Check your bulbs. If you have this type of tail light use a #81 for the tail light and a #1129 for the brake light. That will give you a brighter tail light than a 12v #1157 and almost as bright a brake light.

#3: Make sure your socket & connections are clean & not corroded. Good clean connections are a must for a 6v system.

#4: Paint the inside of your housing gloss white.
