A buddy of mine has a set of OEM wheel covers he's selling but there's a question about what year they are for. He was told they are '54 and that's the way he has them listed. A potential buyer told him they are '48 so now he's asking me to try to find out what year they are. This is a link to the listing <CLICK>. If anyone can tell me what the correct year is I'll pass it along to him. Cletis, I know this has an ebay link which technically isn't correct for GTT but if you can allow this for long enough to get the correct year before deleting it I'd appreciate it. I didn't post this in the 'spoon in order to get a wider audience.

Well I gotta say, I've looked at them both, in the pictures that
is, side by side and yes, you can see the difference, that is,
side by side. But like the color of the interior or engine
color or a lot of other things on these trucks, when they stand
alone I couldn't tell you which one was which. If I were
restoring a 'gentleman's' Advance Design truck I wouldn't
hesitate one second to use them.
Wonder what the last day of bidding is gonna bring for that set?
There are already almost 50 people fighting for them with
five days to go.

No kidding. He's a super honest fellow and was mortified to discover he had them misrepresented. They are a pretty rare item so now he just needs to correct his listing. Thanks for the help all.
