I'm working under the 45 the other day, putting in a new brake line, when my 10 year old stepdaughter comes out to watch for a bit. (When the brake line is done we're gonna drive it out to the pond and go fishing.)

I crawl out from under and ask her "whaddya think?"

She looks up at me and states "I think it looks like a big old lop eared bunny rabbit!"

At my puzzled look, she goes on: "The lights are the eyes, and those (indicates the fenders) are the cheeks. That (Points at the lower grill) is the teeth, and that(upper grill) is the sniffy nose."

I'm seeing it, and she goes on "and those are the ears!" She points at the two different mirrors, an odd arrangement on this truck, an extended high mount on the left, and a conventional hinge mount on the right. She tells this to everybody else in the family, who now call it the "Lop Ear" truck.

So I guess thats what its gonna be.

I have a 46 GMC 1 1/2 ton. When I first saw the front fenders, I thought someone had cut the fenders off, but that's the way they came. At least you have 2 mirrors. Mine doesn't have any.
