I'm looking for a source for the Deluxe upholstery materials for my 55 1st series GMC Suburban. I heard a place in Portland, OR has it but I don't know the name. ANY help is appreciated!

The color combo's were dark green/light green and dark blue/light blue. Might have been other but I'm going off failing memory here. The patterns are not the same as Chevy either. Take a look at this link: http://community.webshots.com/photo/82943810/94661952dopUrk The pattern is solid for the dark green and vertical lines for the light green. The blues use the same patterns. I'M GOING TO REPOST THIS IN THE INTERIORS SECTION.

They are in/near Vancouver, WA. If they do not have your pattern, they will take your old covers as patterns. They will try to match your colors, too (if they do not know them). Gilbreath Upholstery Supply has a wide variety of fabrics (if you need to match colors and texture) and other materials. Have you spoken with him? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 106 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 106 | Kook,
I checked with Jerry in SF. In fact, I drove out to see his Sub. Darn thing is a near perfect twin to my Sub. Even had a Hydra-Matic originally. He told me his woes with SMS so I decided to look for another outlet. I didn't find anything positive. I checked out SMS and I've had good luck with them so far. We'll see what happens when I have the money to order. I guess I'll have to sell the extra 54 GMC I have.
