I'm looking to replace the bucket seats that someone installed in my 59' Chevy. I'm sure the bench seats from older and newer trucks fit. I just don't know what years might work. Can someone educate me on this please. This would help me in my search at junk yards. Thanks.

40/60 seat from 86 GM truck, and nearby years, fit the TF cab well

Look for a bench or split bench from an 88-98 Chevy truck, they're a great fit and comfortable.

I found an original seat for my 55 2nd gen truck in a junk yard in AZ. Had it sent to Texas via Grey hound. Welded up all broken springs & the frame. Just got an upholstery padding kit and new covers. So original is always an option

Most definitely. I forgot to mention that I am shooting for the original look.
