I know there are vinyl letters available, but I prefer paint. Here's how I made my own masking template to paint the CHEVROLET letters on the grill of my 1965 C10.
Painting CHEVROLET

If you'd like a copy of the CAD generated letters, send me a PM with your email address, I'll send ya a free copy.

John,
You should contact Peggy M and have this added as a Tech Tip. It would be a worthwhile addition

Nice work! That's the kind of stuff I like to do. I'm far away from that step so I'll put it in the old memory bank for later reference.

John,

That is clever. Stovebolters are a smart bunch.

I did get two tech tips done last week (one was Grigg's) but I haven't heard from him. One (shame, shame) was from a while ago and I contacted the author. Haven't heard from him either.

I have the September 1 Gallery additions done and I will attempt to get a tech tip (hopefully three) up there on Monday before we head to Kansas City.

I have not forgotten!!!

When the painter did my lettering on the tailgate, it was a special issue, because the lettering the "GMC with the surround" was a special reflective aluminum, but drove him nuts trying to get it right
