I found this on one of the CraigsList Ads that were posted on StoveBolt last week. On the trailer from Minnesota now. I guess I am starting a fleet of 54s

On the trailer from Minnesota

I couldn't open the link, for some reason. Is it a Chevy, or GMC ?

The PO told me it was a Braniff Airlines truck and worked one of the local airports. 65k miles. I have not seen it yet, but this will carry me into my retirement years....

He threw in the bed just to get rid of it.

Congrats Bob, on the purchase and on finding a shipper. I know some one else who had good luck with Uship too.
What is the ETA?
What are your plans for the bed, if it is a 9 footer and in decent shape, it has some value to it. I think it looks kind of cool behind the COE.

The COE is already in Rockville. I took it to Ken at the Light Truck Center on Gude Drive to help me evaluate priorities. Let me know if you can meet me there to look it over.

The 9 foot bed is in great shape. That will be for sale immediately.

Richie54: I saw this truck heading to your place Sunday around 10:30 heading southbound on route 270. I still want to swing by your place sometime and check out your pickup and now I definately got to see this Cab-Over.

The driver of the trailer said he had people wave to him, talk to him at all the stops and generally slow down and stare along the way. Must have been a funny look to have the old Oldsmobile and my COE on the back. Even funnier that you saw this on the way down 270.

PM me to find a day to take a look at my "fleet"
