I have a 51 3100, ls-1 , and a American auto wire chassis harness. My headlights, running lights, low beam, high beam , turn signals all work. My issue is that when my lights are on my brake lights does not work?? Does not matter if it's park or full lights. If I turn the lights off the brake lights work fine?

Hi, Pa51, On my truck I used reproduction stock type tail light mounts and found out that the ground path through the mount did NOT work.( I did check with a multimeter and it said I had a ground path) I had to install separate grounds from the frame to the tail light mounting bolts. Hope this helps, Brian

If the large and small filaments are switched, it may not be possible to see the brake lights.

Most aftermarket wiring companies have a great tech line. You might want to call them.

Reversed the wiring on the lighting and everything is good ???? I was told by tech line that it did not matter which wire was going to wich color as long as they matched.
