1954 3600

picked up a non running 1954 3600, body in decent shape and who can pass up an original chrome bullet nose... slowly going to try and turn it into a mostly original hauler/local daily driver. Pulling the fuel system, replacing what little rust is there, rebuilding the drums to keep the 8 lugs. Any advice would definitely be appreciated, while i wait on the Minnesota weather to cooperate.

Welcome to the Bolt cluggly. That 54 has a big smile on its face. I'll bet yours is even bigger. Nice catch.

Lots of bolters around and I'm sure you'll run into some from your area. I've been in Northfield and met a bolter there and I know there is more. Ask questions in the forums if you need help. That's what we're here for.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

The weather finally cooperated and i got some time to keep going on the truck. still pulling parts off, but the engine isn't seized so that's good news. think i have all my body panels now so i can start repairing.

Welcome cluggly, the engine likely has many more miles left in it. Just ask if you need help. Whatever you intend to do has been likely been done by others who are willing to help out. Have fun!
