Anyone have a PPG paint code for Bordeaux maroon, common color for around a '41 Chevy truck. Looking for a darker maroon rather than Cape Maroon. Thanks, Mike

I should have been more specific in my inquiry.have, I am looking for the 4 digit number that they are using now. I called PPG asking for the updated number, and no such luck, though they were able to provide the number for Cape Maroon last year! PPG was not able to located any of the numbers located on that list.

What number did PPG give you for cape maroon? I'm curious as I am going to put mine back in cape maroon. Thus far the previously referenced colors wouldn't mesh with anyone's color bank. I've pretty well settled on a maroon from late 60s ford cars. From what I've seen its a pretty sweet color, and can get it in the system I want from the supplier I want. However, I would like to have the new offset number just in case.

Ok, the number PPG gave me was 3175, it is a Maroon, haven't sprayed any yet. You can always buy a pint, and do a test spray. Mike
