| | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 224 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 224 | Wiring Harness , arrived yesterday , after scoping ever thing out , realized on all 3 of my trucks (2 are donors there is no fuses or blocks nothing I can find ) My thoughts are to butt splice 2 pigtail fuses inline where the fuses belong I would like to have repop replacement .( I looked in all the books I have and cannot locate any replacement blocks same with e-bay ). What are your thoughts ???? These 2 are for tail lights and brake lights , What size fuses???? I'm assuming the head lights are on the light switch . ( circuit breaker )

| | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 863 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 863 | If i am understanding you correctly, you DO NOT have the fuse holder/block that is mounted to the firewall? You will need this if you are wanting to keep the truck as original as possible. If not you can buy an aftermarket fuse block through Painless Wiring, Summit Racing, etc. Or you could place an add in the "Truck Parts Wanted Section" of this forum. Someone may have an extra one laying around. I have had great luck with the rare parts I've needed for my truck. I would not wire the truck with no fuses. Possible fire hazard. All of the fuses in the original type block are 20 amp glass type fuses. The headlamps also run through fuses on the block marked and separated as Upper Beam and Lower Beam. Hope this helps.

You could connect feed to the switched side of the ignition switch. However, to have four ways without the key on, you need to use the non switched side. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 224 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 224 | I got off this forum a elec. print ( its a great print and I thank whoever shared it ) It has the flasher with a inline fuse that is fed from the light switch, and it also shows a double , 2 circuit fuse block that's being fed from the light switch . It goes to the tail lights & the brake lights . I think I can use a inline fuse on these 2 circuits , What do you think ????
The print has the same numbers & same color wires as my new wire harness ,,,,
