For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 85 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 85 | Okay, I messed up... I had my frame/engine, etc. sandblasted. The oil canister used to be some orange color & the top was the color of the truck. Can anyone tell me/have a chip as to what color the orange was? Thanks. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | | | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 85 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 85 | Nope, the original color of the truck was Mariner Blue, which I'm going to paint it. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | If the canister was originally orange it was probably a Fram filter. The top would have been gloss black, not the color of the truck, that was done to "customize" the truck to the owners pleasure. Denny G
