Aside from being made in China which I don't particularly like , has anyone had experience with these tires? Thinking about them for my '49 1/2ton.

I bought a set of Goodyear Marathon ST23580R16 E rated tires tires for a bumper pull flatbed with 7K axles and a Class 4/5 hitch from Tire rack. They are made in Chin. I bought a set of Carlisle tires in the same size for my tilt car hauler. They are made is USA. I wouldn't be afraid to run a Chinese tire on an old vehicle, but I would shop around. They can be bought cheaper elsewhere than from Walmart. I would check around. I think Discount tire sells the same tire. We ran Cooper tires on the steering axle of our semis for almost 2 years. They are made in China by a joint venture of Cooper and a Chinese company. However, an Indian company tried a hostile takeover of the company and the Chinese workers walked out and shut the plant down. We were about to switch back to Michelins anyway. They cost about 30% less than our Michelin national account and we got about 30% less tread wear.
