I made a CAD file of the letters on my 1965 stepside tailgate. It can be used by a sign shop to make vinyl letters or a masking template.

If you'd like a copy of the file send me a PM

Just curious, is there a reason you didn't get them from a vendor?

I just see that they're $10-$15 from vendors, and it's unlikely a sign shop would do it any cheaper than that. (Not in my area, at least)

I don't need the letters, I painted my own on my '65 short stepside.

A few reasons:

A) Vinyl isn't the OEM method..

B) A masking template would allow others to paint their own letters.

C) I'm retired, I know CAD, I have a computer & the weather outside has been brutal.

I am not able to send PM messages and I would like to have the template for the Chevrolet letters.
Thank you so much for sharing.

Solrak, as a new member you are "moderated" and you must first have at least 4 post to be able to send PM messages. YOu just made your 4th so you should be good to go.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
