Still at the junkyard after a full day. Day started with the usual sausage gravy, eggs and biscuits... Lunch at Valley Land. The truck ran flawlessly all the way. Made a fuel stop and a food stop. Turned around real quick in Broadway to check out a rollback that Josh was curious about. Now I'm anxious to get started on my project. I only scored a passenger side fender and Josh scored a 60/40 seat for his dumptruck. Great weekend and thank you to George and his family. I didn't need anything but did find a shifter for an auxiliary transmission, a robust parking brake lever, and other related linkage and brackets from an old White buss. Thanks to everyone for the help removing them. Also found a power steering reservoir/ filter and some nice gauges, and even a cruise control thing for Dad's truck.
Billy, the shifter you wanted isn't available.
Next time we go I need to pickup a set of wheels too.

It's been a while since I was in a yard like Franky's. It's nice just to walk around and take in all that well love about our classic vehicles. Also thankful to Franky for preserving all of the trucks and cars that enable us to do what we love to do.
Got some lighting items unique to the Carpenter bus and a 19.5 wheel for the '59 one ton that Grigg pointed out to me, that I would have otherwise missed.
Thanks to all...had a great time and look forward to doing it again.
