on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 173 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 173 | I am finally having to deal with the terrible wiring in my truck, after nearly setting it afire. Aparrently the rew wire to the long dead ammeter shorted to the windshield wiper arm and melted a lot of stuff. I have pretty much cleaned up all the wiring replacing the extra crispy one. In the ordeal I pulled the ignition switch, now I can't figure out how it wires back up. It does NOT match the terminal lay out in the factory wiring diagram. I have 7 terminals, a "BAT", 2 "IGN", 2 "ACC", 1 "ST", and a blank. I have 1 black wire to the starter, 1 red wire to the light switch/regulator?, 1 pair of green wires to the coil and starter (on the same terminal), 1 pink wire to the turn signals, 1 brown wire (forgot where it goes) Any ways, any one can tell me what goes where? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 | here are two from aprevious post that might help click here click here are you going to the small town event/cruise/show that is being held in El-reno this coming week-end.. we will be going. I think I got that right! Bill | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 173 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 173 | Mine didn't look like either one of those.
I'll post a pic in a few minutes maybe tomorrow, maybe.
