I purchased the 55 rear tail lights from a vendor, all of them have the same LMC, Classic Chev, Brothers etc.... They are the led's. They came with a pigtail. The wiring is pretty simple the female end that is on the light itself has 2 holes 1 for running lights and the other for turn, brake. My question is how does the connection go? the male end is just wire ends? It's like the pigtail is wrong but they are all the same from the pictures. I went to auto parts and hardware looking for a match and no luck. If anyone has the same lights can you enlighten me. My truck is a 51 chevy 3100. I like the look of the 55 lights better so i got them.

not at all clear what your confusion is, if you have wires with no ends they'd need ends added to suit your situation where you connect to the truck wiring or to the light

I don't at all understand what you're referring to, do you have a picture or link to the product?

Is there a connector on it, is that what you're referring to? Did you ask the vendor you bought the lights from?

I will post pics when i get home. but to make it simple imagine a female connector , double connector with the holes about 1/4 inch for each on the tail light. The wires are just 2 wires on the pigtail. (there has to be a connector to match the female end of the connector? I got mine from (LMC) no tech. support.The other vendors have the same exact set up from the pics. But i'm sure i'm not painting a good picture so I will post them for you.

Yes, we need a photo. Is it a plastic connector with two female spade terminals inside. If so, simply add matching male spades and push directly into the female spades and don't worry about a matching plastic (male) housing/connector. Or better yet, cut off what confuses you and add any type connector that suits you.

Again, I probably am way off base on what you are talking about.

you are half correct , but there are no spade connectors inside.

sounds like the female ends will take a bullet connector on the wires, more "modern" than the spades and more likely what would be on a LED light

you are probably correct, just need to find the correct size.

should be a FLAPS or Radio Shack or something around you that has a selection of terminals, take the light with the female end along and see what fits, the sizes of the different styles are 'universal' .... the size that matters is the wire size, if the wire is say 14 gauge, the connector will be called '16-14AWG', so it will fit a #16 or #14 properly ... the light blue nylon heat shrinkable type are best
