I have seen a kit for gas pedal linkage if you use fenton headers on the 235. I have seen threads where people have had trouble with stock linkage after installing fenton headers. It includes all brackets springs and connecting rod to pedal for 65.00 Good choice or any alternative ideas.

I used 1/4 inch rod from home depot, stuck it in a vise and bent it myself to get around my headers. I don't think the springs and rod came up to 65.00 plus shipping. What they think you need and what you see you need might be 2 different things.

Agree with Elmer. Make it your self. It's ez. For cotter pin insert if you use them, I flattened the rod slightly on one side to have a good surface to drill.

If you want to get real fancy run a die on the ends of the 1/4" rod and install throttle ball joints.

I installed a 235 with Fenton exhaust last spring, I used the old stock linkage, cut it , removed a short section, rewelded the remaining part reformed slightly the curve and reinstalled. It works fine, No Fancy kit costing How Much?

I installed Fenton headers with an Offenhauser dual carb manifold.

The linkage for the dual carbs has a tab for the original throttle rod.

Just put it in the vice and made about 3 jogs to fit between the new manifolds. works fine.
