Looking for ideas on how to hold wiring up under the dashboard, or against the upper inside firewall withot drilling or screwing ?

Panduit makes some need adhesive backed pads that you stick to a clean surface, then slip a zip tie through and secure your wires or whatever. I thought the underdash area was rampant with braces, cables and the such...perfect for zip tying bundles of wires to.

My 38 has clips made into the underside of the dash to hold wires. Your 40 might have something there too, maybe worth a closer look?

zip ties work great and you can buy plastic "looms" at home depot or lowes and bundle them up nice and neat. the looms are very inexpensive and come in different sizes. they have two basic types, spiral which allows wires to come out in all different directions and split. you can also make loops out of velco and hang them from the dash.

This is what Stuart was talking about. I use some of the older style ones I have lying around for a lot of things. If your surface is nice and clean you just peel and stick the self adhesive clips and can either run wires directly through or connect tie straps to them.
