It is customary for the newest attendee to sleep nearest to the President as the presidential security detail - mid watch.
True, true. In addition, let us not forget the warm milk and cookies to be served the president upon retiring for the evening.
Your presidential servant,
Cosmo

Come on Mikey, just needed a Brother to spark the flame.
Brother George, two questions:
1. How much snow is on the ground? 2. What is the snow prognosis for this coming week?
Looking forward to a few days off the cell grid. Think an iPhone will travel far in the skeet launcher? What I'd do to sling lead at it!!!!!

Little to no snow on the ground and they aren't calling for much this week. We can shoot clays on Friday afternoon if you want. You are welcome to bring guns, just in case.
I'm coming. Just trying to see if I need to drive a 4x4 or not.

Next weekend and the week leading up to the trip, if the weather holds. Josh and I will take off the bracket to my salt rig and put my tailgate back on my GMC so I can bring home parts. Josh and I are coming for sure.
I really wanted to make this trip, however this weekend and several thereafter I will be helping the Mrs. in New Jersey with her mothers estate, currently, my mother inlaw is splitting time at our house and my sister inlaws. Looking forward to the stories, there is always good stories from these adventures.

Bad news for me. We have to make a trip to Kansas City area to move my wife's father from independent living into a skilled care place. I'll be looking for junk in Chillacothe and Liberty Mo and will miss everyone. and just when i was getting the hang of Junking with the brothers. I still plan on sending some Devils Back Bone if Grigg will take it and it is ok to send. Everyone needs to try the 16pt IPA.
Alec, if the weather they're talking about for tomorrow comes we may be looking at another date for the Winter Classic and you could make it still. I suppose that's the good news. In any case I can transport IPA if required
The bad news is presently it looks like 10-16" for us tomorrow, and if that sticks around or turns to thick mud by next weekend... http://vawx.weebly.com/#content

3 to 5 inches here, lowered us from a winter storm watch to a winter weather advisory. Still should make some $now money for my truck project. I'd rather push 3 to 5 inches of cement than over a foot. Billy, need any assistance with the big one, I'll come up when we're done here.
Darn, that guy in the river showed some perseverance!

Looks like old Charlottesville is in the eye of the storm....they're talking loss of power, etc., but then again they freak out at the sight of a snowflake around here.

Got called out at 1am and just finished up after 13 hours. Got the truck fueled up and ready to go back out later when the snow starts back up at 5. Another 2 to 4 coming.
14" and probably done for now. Friend cleared the driveway and we are headed in town for a nice dinner. I suppose there actually is one advantage to living so very close to a main road.
About 2 inches here. My 2 WD hoopty van had no toruble with the driveway but I cleared it with the tractor anyway so I wouldn't have sheet ice in the morning.
I wish we had real snow here ...
When I was in 6th grade, I remember a morning after we had 12 inches of fresh snow over night. The roads weren't plowed and my school bus wasn't even late. Where I grew up, they didn't delay school for only 12 inches ... That's why I miss real snow, not this wet heavy frost ...

I estimate 17" where I stay. Yes John, brought back old memories. Had a grand time on the way home from work on Wednesday evening doing doughnuts in the Sam's Club parking lot in the '49, gunning and spinning and getting 'a little sideways' on the way home, great fun in the old truck!

Well I pushed about 5 or 6 inches of concrete in Waldorf. Pushing in 4lo and just about everytime I pushed into the pile, it was like hitting a block wall. Just would'nt move. Made good money but, it was incredibly difficult on the truck.
