Thanks Maybellene. My setup/details will be/are as follows:
1. 12v conversion with 3 wire alternator.
2. New 12v wiring harness throughout (not reinstalling voltage regulator)
3. 14" electric condenser fan.
4. Condenser fan is trigger via trinary safety switch. When compressor is on, fan is on.
5. I have sound deadened (not thermally insulated) the cab. I suspect it will help a little. I have new firewall insulation in place.
6. I plan to keep my stock 4-blade fan, but will change that out if performance dictates.
7. I am adding a 12v electrical bus under the dash that is energized via a relay. The evaporator fan, stereo system, amp, PA system, etc. will be powered from the bus. Along with a ground bus.
