As wetwilly said, a 4100 series Chevrolet is indeed a 1 1/2 ton. a 1 ton Chevy would be a 3800 series. Chevrolet didn't have a 1 1/4 ton truck, but GMC did. They are "Rare", but GMC had a 280 series truck, that was rated as a 1 1/4 ton.
